Bio

I have always been interested in the relationship between people and the environment, especially how the choices we make can shape the world around us. My passion for environmental issues grew throughout my undergraduate career, where I studied Earth and Environmental Science with a minor in Geography. Through my coursework and experiences, I have developed an interest in sustainability, climate change, environmental research, and the ways we can communicate complex environmental issues to a broader audience.

My experiences have allowed me to explore environmental work from several different perspectives, including waste management, sustainability, geospatial analysis, and qualitative and quantitative research. I have worked on projects involving waste reduction and traceability, environmental and climate research, GIS and mapping, and community-based research.

Outside of academics, I love spending time outdoors and staying active. I enjoy camping, snowboarding, and traveling, and I have always loved exploring new places and experiencing the outdoors in different ways. I am also a huge thrifter, which has become both a hobby and a creative outlet for me. Fall is my favorite season, and I love anything spooky or scary, from Halloween to horror movies. At home, I am a proud cat mom to two cats. These interests are a big part of who I am and reflect my love for adventure, creativity, and the environment. I am excited to continue connecting these passions with my studies in Climate Change and Society and to learn from and collaborate with my classmates.
