Bio
I am deeply curious, inspired, and fulfilled by nature based experiences and sustainability efforts in my community. As an avid volunteer with Raleigh Parks and local non-profits, I’m exposed to the links between environmental education and social equity. This observation drives me to explore climate change as a symptom of the unequal distribution of power within our society, and learn to recognize solutions that empower communities to reclaim agency and health.
Alongside the CCS degree, I’m pursuing a certificate in Human Dimensions of Natural Resources from NC State and an Environmental Education certification through Catawba College (formally offered through NCDEQ). My undergrad is in Business Management from East Carolina University.
In my free time, I enjoy indoor rock climbing, yoga, reading, writing, and loving on my two cats and dog.
