Bio

My undergraduate background is applied mathematics.  I’ve worked in the insurance industry and in geographic information systems.  Hobbies include hiking, travelling, and exploring new places.  Recently I’ve travelled to Southeast Asia, India, and Africa.

I am particularly interested in long-range climate projections and modeling, as well as the spatial dimensions of climate change and impacts on migration. I’m hoping to increase my skill set here at NCSU and apply what I learn here to solve the challenges that the impacts of changes in climate will bring.
